Near Nature

Step out the front door, and two minutes on foot and you're at the river.

The Royal Recreation Trail runs for kilometres along the Speed and Eramosa Rivers with shaded paths, riverside parks, the historic covered bridge.

This is the kind of place where a morning coffee turns into a walk along the bank, and an after-dinner stroll becomes a proper loop through the trees.

...and also Downtown

Not far past the river is downtown Guelph. Wyndham Street's stone-front heritage buildings hold independent shops, patios, coffee roasters and restaurants, with the Saturday farmers' market. The limestone spires of the Basilica anchors the whole thing.

The River Run Centre brings in theatre and live music, the Sleeman Centre brings the hockey crowd, and Guelph Central Station puts GO and VIA trains to Toronto within walking distance of your front door.

It's a downtown that still feels like a real neighbourhood: familiar faces, small storefronts, and a Friday evening that can start and end on foot.
